Our experience has shown us the power of integration. For 15+ years, we’ve collaborated cross-functionally in the energy sector with diverse groups, including reservoir engineers, geomechanics experts, geomodelers, and geophysicists.

Amanda Reynolds brings a rich background spanning geology, geochemistry, and petrophysics.
After starting in geology and earning her Master’s and PhD in geochemistry, she was recruited into the energy sector, learning petrophysics hands-on with mentors at companies like ExxonMobil and ConocoPhillips. This journey cultivated a deep appreciation for data-driven analysis and the challenge of upscaling small-scale data to answer regional questions.
She’s worked in both conventional and unconventional fields and has vast expertise in operational petrophysics, core and fluid lab measurements and workflows, and CCUS. She has worked from early exploration to late-stage development and can alter workflows to suit your needs.
Her expertise includes knowing which tools are appropriate for specific questions and interpreting the resulting data to understand pore space, fluid types, and rock flow properties. This comprehensive understanding allows Vigil Petrophysics to unlock the full potential of your assets and provide the clear answers you need to inform critical decisions.
